1996 Land Rover Defender 110 300TDI w/ R380 transmission

This vehicle has undergone an extensive mechanical and cosmetic overhaul, and is now a turn-key classic ready for adventure, with the peace of mind that the future maintenance should be limited to basic annual preventative servicing. It was sourced from Southern Spain from a collector in great running order. This is a dry climate, so thankfully there’s no rust issues to be concerned about.

Our goal on any project is to ensure peace of mind and worry-free ownership for our vehicles’ new owners here in the US. This means replacing common wear and tear items, ensuring all filters and fluids are replaced, and thoroughly servicing the cooling system, drivetrain, and all other running gear. The 300TDI engine starts on the button and has only 115k original miles on it, the R380 manual transmission shifts smoothly, and it is an overall pleasure to drive. It’s a true head-turner, combining vintage charm with reliability.

Below is a full list of the work completed:

Mechanical Overhaul:
Comprehensive full service: all fluids and filters (oil, fuel, transmission, axles, transfer case, power steering, cooling system, air filter, brakes).
Fully rebuilt rear axle (half shafts, wheel bearings, flanges, etc.).
Timing belt and drive belts replaced

New parts installed:
Battery, alternator, water pump, rear exhaust section, door lock barrels, front wheel bearings.
Brakes were recently replaced (2024).

Interior Upgrades:
New front seat foam bases for added comfort
New seat belts (front and rear)
Rear benches with lap belts for additional passenger seating
New door cards (x4)
New suede headliner
New steering wheel
Bose Soundlink speaker with removable dash-mounted dock
Multi-USB outlet installed for convenient device charging
Various other interior parts were replaced as needed

Exterior & Cosmetic Restoration:
Fresh paint
Body & interior repainted in Keswick Green (LRC799)
Roof repainted in Fuji White (LRC867)

New parts & refinements:
Safari door glass replaced.
Chassis deep cleaned, inspected, sanded, and refinished in satin black.
New front bumper, grille, light surrounds, and lights
New front windscreen & seal
New side running boards and rear step
New spare wheel carrier
New under-hood insulation
Professionally detailed (2 stage)

Wheels & Tires:
New Wolf-style wheels (x5) painted in Fuji White (LRC867)
New BFGoodrich KO2 tires (265/75 R16, x5) for ultimate on or off-road performance

I can coordinate delivery to anywhere in the lower 48. The vehicle is on a WI Title for easy transfer to your state. Note that Sales Tax is not included and is payable to your local DMV upon title/registration. All customs/import documents can be supplied along with the vehicle if desired (though they are no longer needed).
