The restoration features an original grille, original doors, original dash, original hood, and a rust-free Arizona roof, while all other sheet metal has been replaced with new components. The engine has been rebuilt and refurbished, along with the transmission and transfer case. The axles have also been rebuilt with the stock 4.56 gearing, with a Ford 9-inch rear end featuring 4.56 gears. This Bronco has been upgraded with power front disc brakes, an aluminum radiator, stainless steel long-tube headers, a Holley carburetor, a new steel fuel tank and fuel lines, new stainless steel brake lines, and new front and rear driveshafts. Additional features include a 2-4 inch suspension lift, all-new wiring, new 15x8 steel wheels with tires, custom white wheels, updated hood struts for the hood and liftgate, and Raptor liner applied to the interior flooring, wheel wells, and underbody. Inside, this Bronco features crank windows and a Super Tach II RPM gauge. The first-generation Ford Bronco was introduced for the 1966 model year as Ford's answer to the growing market for compact four-wheel-drive vehicles. The Bronco was offered in several body styles and was designed to provide a combination of off-road capability, utility, and everyday drivability. For 1968, the Bronco continued with its compact body-on-frame design and available four-wheel-drive system, while the lineup was powered by Ford's small-block V8 and inline-six engines. The Bronco quickly developed a reputation as a capable off-road vehicle and became popular with outdoor enthusiasts, ranchers, and drivers looking for a versatile 4x4. The first-generation Bronco would remain in production through 1977 before being replaced by the larger second-generation model.
