Back when four-wheel-drive trucks were built to work instead of pose, Ford's F-250 Highboy stood tall in every sense. Produced only through the middle of the 1977 model year, these factory-raised 4x4s are prized for their rugged chassis, unmistakable stance, and divorced transfer-case layout. This 1976 example comes from near the end of that celebrated run, making it an increasingly uncommon sight among vintage Ford pickups.

Under the hood is a 390-cubic-inch big-block V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission and floor shifter.
