GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this remarkably well-preserved 1985 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade for your consideration. Finished in its factory Alpaca Brown Metallic with the unmistakable Renegade graphics package, this CJ-7 is the kind of survivor that has become increasingly difficult to find. Showing just over 96,000 miles, it retains the vast majority of its original paint along with its original interior, giving it an honest, well-cared-for appearance that tells the story of four decades of careful ownership. Rather than being over-restored, this Jeep proudly wears the character and authenticity collectors appreciate most.
Power comes from Jeep's legendary 4.2-liter inline-six engine paired with a desirable 5-speed manual transmission, delivering the classic CJ driving experience with excellent low-end torque and dependable simplicity. Whether you're heading down a back road, exploring a trail, or cruising to your local cars and coffee, this CJ provides the unmistakable feel that made these Jeeps an American icon. According to the CARFAX, the vehicle shows no accidents or damage reported, with consistent ownership history and documented service over the years.
One of the standout features of this Renegade is its impressive list of factory options. Equipped with factory air conditioning, factory cruise control, and the desirable factory steel sunroof, it offers amenities rarely found together on a CJ-7. The original tan interior has been exceptionally well preserved, complementing the survivor-quality exterior, while a fresh set of tires has recently been mounted to the original chrome wheels, giving the Jeep a confident stance without sacrificing its authentic appearance.
Whether you're an avid Jeep collector, a fan of unrestored classics, or simply searching for one of the nicest original CJ-7s available, this Renegade deserves a close look. Honest, highly optioned, and increasingly hard to duplicate, it represents the kind of preserved survivor that continues to gain appreciation among enthusiasts. With its iconic styling, factory options, and unmistakable 1980s Jeep charm, this CJ-7 is ready for its next adventure.
