1986 Suzuki Samurai 2 door soft top. 5-speed stick with high and low range transfer case. Odometer shows 14k on imported Japanese 1.3L motor. Actual mileage is unknown. New clutch was installed with engine. Runs very well. Engine is stock with an upgraded aluminum radiator with a pusher fan.
This vehicle was built for off road wheeling about 6k miles ago with all new parts, bushings, etc. Modifications include the following:
- 7in lift using LowRangeOffRoad spring over axel kit.
- Trail Tough leaf springs on all 4 tires.
- OffRoad shocks
- Castor set correctly using appropriate wedges on front axel mounting points.
- 5.4 to 1 front and rear diff ratios.
- Diff breathers plumbed up to the engine compartment.
- 15in 31x10.50 off road mud tires.
- Stock transfer case gears.
- Stock Asin manual locking hubs
- Front panhard bar from LowRangeOffRoad.
- Toyota YJ tie rod ends on heavy duty cross bar.
- Front and rear diff armor welded on axels
- Warn winch mounted on TrailTough front bumper with poly winch cable.
- TrailTough flat tow bar. (Although not recommended)
- Rear spare tire swing arm bar which can be removed when not carrying spare.
- CB radio with antennae mount in rear.
- Interrior is clean with nice and comfy Corbeau bucket seats with inflate-able lumbar support.
- Rear fold-up seat (stock)
- Top is in good shape -not perfect.
- Bikini top included.
This little guy is fun to drive and can go anywhere it’s Jeep CJ cousins can go but use about half the gas. It is light weight and easy to trailer.
It is not a highway traveler as handling on the road gets sketchy above 50 due to the short wheelbase. -But very fun around town.
