The town ace was the smaller sibling in Toyotas Van lineup of the mid 1990's. Fitting neatly in the small but mighty people carrier segment. The 1992 Town Ace was part of Toyota's 3rd generation of Lite Ace/Town Ace lineup. Also one of Toyotas longest production runs this was due to its popularity and versatility.

Versatility was the name of the game, these vehicles came in so many configurations for commercial and passenger uses. Diesel and Gas, 4wd and 2wd models all available with accessories to match. Simple durable flooring and hard panels inside for cargo cans or 3 row cloth seats and cubbies/cupholders for passengers. The Town Ace showed people what a dependable van could look and feel like.

This 1992 is a gas powered passenger variant with many trim and accessories that help with moving people to where they want to go. 2Y-U gasoline engine is a 1.8liter making 79 HP and 101ftlbs of torque. Running through a 4 speed automatic and 4x4 drive train its simple and effective. The transfer case also has a High or low setting making it selectable for differing conditions. The engine is located under the first row seats witch helps with handling and stability.

The interior is well equipped with intelligent and transformable seating for 7. Simple cloth interior in shades of grey and light tans. Many cup holders and auxiliary power outlets for all the needs of drivers and passengers. The seats recline and shift for any changes of passengers or cargo needs.

The exterior is painted in a grey metallic and black accents. The factory 4x4 graphics are sill present and match the new window tinting well. The Wheels have been painted black to match and are wrapped in General grabber atx offroad tires. This is a great runaround van and its simplicity is its best feature. If you and 6 of your friends need to get to the mountains or the beach this is tour ride.
