This former firetruck served its tour of duty in Japan, but now it's practically begging for one of you to make it your new adventuremobile. For sale from the folks at Vans from Japan in Sacramento, California is this decommissioned 1995 Toyota ToyoAce firetruck for an asking price of $19,500. It's an extremely low-mileage example in wonderful condition, and with a 2.8 liter diesel motor connected to all four wheels with a manual transmission, high/low transfer case, manual locking hubs, a suspension that includes a 2" lift, and 30" BFGoodrich offroad tires, this thing's ready to rip on the trails. 1995 Toyota ToyoAce: The Firetruck Version

The Toyota ToyoAce is a light to medium cab-over-engine (COE) truck built by Toyota from 1954 to March 2020. Until a renaming contest in 1956, the truck was sold as the "Toyopet Light Truck SKB," and it was sold through Japanese Toyota dealerships which were called Toyopet stores. For clarity, you could not adopt a dog or cat there. 

In 1985 the ToyoAce and Dyna truck lines were merged, with the Dynas generally being intended for heavier duty work. Regardless, the ToyoAce made the perfect compact firetruck. It was durable as hell, could handle unpaved areas, and had plenty of power. They're relatively hard to find here in the United States, but if you're looking for a comp, check out this 1986 ToyoAce that sold recently on Bring a Trailer for $27,250. Get this one for 30% cheaper and spend the difference modifying the hell out of it. Or keep it original. Either way, you win.



Condition and Specs.

If there's a group of people that knows how to take care of their equipment, it's firemen and firewomen, so it's not a surprise that this rig's in wonderful condition. Save for a little surface rust in the rear, this thing's nearly perfect. It's also in amazing mechanical shape, with only 14,632 (!!!!) miles on its odometer.
