This is one of the first years of the 76 series. Improvements were made over the 77 the biggest was the New Coil Sprung front end. The 76 continued the suspension design that is still in use today. This is a Narrow front Land Cruiser Wagon, sharing the same components as the 77 and the 79.

Finished in 2FS color combo, 6Q7 Dark Green Mica with a Silver trim. The Body is straight and the paint is great. The Vehicle drives as well as it looks. All suspension and steering is crisp and sharp. The coil springs and radius arms align the straight axel, wile the rear springs are built to handle a load.

The 4.2 liter 1HZ starts easily and pushes the Wagon effortlessly down the road. The Automatic Manual transmission and multispeed t-case are a great combo. The Wagon has push button 4wd with auto locking hubs.  This vehicle is also equipped with the factory triple lock.  A Toyota electric locking Front, Rear and Center differentials. This switch is mounted to the dash, Near the steering column.  This is a rare Factory option, this paired to the automatic locking hubs and 1HZ Diesel is a winning combination.

The interior is supple grey cloth with a modern blue/grey/black pattern.  The dash is simple and unblemished. Dash pad and all plastics fit perfectly. The factory Japanese stereo is still mounted but an American stereo can be fitted easily.  The sound comes out of 2 4" speakers in the dash and 2 6.5 inch speakers in the cargo area.

The second row reclines and folds easily. The second row also seats three. The rear is accessed by Barn style doors. The rear door also holds a full size spare. Ample cargo room in the back.
