This 2003 Ford Excursion is a heavily modified example that has undergone extensive mechanical, suspension, exterior, and interior upgrades. Power comes from a completely rebuilt 6.0 Power Stroke, which has been bulletproofed with all-new seals, head gaskets, and ARP head studs. Additional modifications include a BD Diesel Stage 2 Screamer 63mm turbocharger, 155/30 hybrid injectors (L 4.0), and an X4 SCT tuner with a custom tune. The engine is paired with a rebuilt 5-speed automatic transmission, which features a billet torque converter. Other mechanical updates include a new water pump, new intercooler, and new batteries, while a Magnaflow resonator has been added to the exhaust. The suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein shocks, Dana 60 remanufactured 1-ton axles front and rear. A new steering box and tie-rods have been installed, along with heavy-duty front and rear leaf spring packs. The exterior features a Super Duty front-end conversion, HammerHead front and rear bumpers, and a full repaint, including the chassis. It is equipped with Fuel Triton wheels wrapped in 37x12.50R22 Toyo A/T III tires. Additional modifications include a 20K lb rated Super Hitch, an RC LED light bar integrated into the grille, Rigid backup and amber fog lights, and Amp Research automatic running boards. The interior has been converted to a full Super Duty setup, including AC and heated seats, a new headliner, and sound-deadening insulation throughout. The dashboard features an AutoMeter digital display, while an Alpine multimedia display and Edge Insight CTS3 digital gauge monitor provides additional functionality. A new HVAC system has been installed for both the front and rear. The audio system includes a JL 900/5 AMP and two JL subwoofers housed in a custom spare tire box.
