More than $25,000 in documented or identifiable upgrades and related work has gone into the Jeep, with an emphasis on suspension geometry, axle strength, steering and driveline reliability rather than appearance alone.
Finished in Bright Silver Metallic, the Rubicon is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and Rock-Trac four-wheel-drive system. Factory equipment includes Dana 44 axles, Tru-Lok front and rear lockers, an electronic front sway-bar disconnect, leather upholstery, heated front seats and a body-color three-piece hardtop.
An AEV 3.5-inch DualSport RS suspension and AEV-tuned Bilstein 5160 remote-reservoir shocks underpin the build. Yukon 4.88 gears, chromoly axle shafts and a Rubicon Express front CV driveshaft support the larger wheel-and-tire package, while upgraded steering components and extensive documented front-end servicing address the demands of a modified JK.
The Jeep currently rides on five Black Rhino Armory wheels with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires. Poison Spyder armor, a WARN rear bumper and carrier, a synthetic-rope winch, rock sliders and auxiliary lighting complete a well-rounded package that presents very well for its age.
- AEV Suspension System: The 3.5-inch AEV DualSport RS suspension uses AEV-tuned Bilstein 5160 remote-reservoir shocks and geometry-correction components to provide additional clearance while retaining more deliberate suspension geometry. An adjustable front track bar and recently installed Bilstein steering stabilizer complement the system.
- Strengthened Rubicon Axles: The factory Dana 44 axles retain their functional Tru-Lok lockers but have been upgraded with Yukon 4.88 gearing, Yukon chromoly rear shafts and a Yukon 4340 chromoly front axle kit. A Rubicon Express 1310-series front CV driveshaft supports the altered driveline angles created by the suspension lift.
- Upgraded Steering System: The steering system includes RockJock/Currectlync linkage with a flipped drag link, an adjustable front track bar, MOOG upper and lower ball joints and an upgraded or remanufactured steering gearbox. The Jeep has also received extensive documented front-end inspections, servicing, balancing and alignments. For full transparency, an intermittent front-end shimmy can still occur under certain road and speed conditions. Multiple off-road specialty shops have evaluated the Jeep, and the condition has improved considerably following the documented steering, suspension, wheel, tire and alignment work, but it has occurred intermittently.
- Matching Wheel Package: Five 18x9.5-inch Black Rhino Armory wheels finished in Gun Black are wrapped in 325/65R18 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires. The -18 offset creates a wide stance, and the matching fifth wheel and tire provide a full-size spare carried on the WARN swing-away carrier. A second package consisting of five matching Pro Comp 17-inch wheels with 37x12.50R17 Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires is available separately to the Jeep’s buyer.
- Armor And Recovery: Poison Spyder Crusher flares, inner fenders, Bruizer front bumper and matching skid provide protection and clearance around the body. The rear is equipped with a WARN bumper and swing-away tire carrier, while a Smittybilt X2O 10,000-pound winch with synthetic rope, rock sliders and Pro Comp auxiliary lighting add practical trail and recovery equipment.
The strength of this build is the work beneath the surface. The AEV suspension, corrected steering geometry, reinforced axle assemblies, deeper gearing and upgraded driveshaft form a more complete package than a Jeep built primarily around lift height and tire size. Its relatively low mileage, extensive receipt history, functional Rubicon hardware and factory comfort equipment further separate it from more heavily used or lightly documented JK builds.
The accompanying CARFAX reports three previous owners, 39 service-history records, no odometer concerns, no accidents or damage reported and no open recalls as of September 21, 2026. It also documents regular servicing through 65,129 miles, including recent brake, steering, suspension and fluid-related work.
The seller has additionally disclosed a prior insurance claim involving wind-blown debris from a neighboring roof that caused cosmetic damage to the hardtop. The hardtop was replaced rather than repaired in 2022. This incident does not appear as an accident or damage entry on the CARFAX report.
