There are plenty of JK Wranglers out there, but finding one that has remained completely stock, has a six-speed manual, and has stayed with the same owner since new is becoming considerably less common. This 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S checks all three boxes.
Offered by its original owner in Lake Orion, Michigan, this Crush Orange JKU has approximately 136,000 miles and pairs Jeep’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with the NSG370 six-speed manual transmission. It was also ordered with the Max Tow Package, Dual Top Group, Power Convenience Group, and several other useful factory options. The original build sheet confirms the six-speed manual, 3.73 axle ratio, Max Tow Package, Class II receiver hitch, and trailer wiring.
Most importantly, the seller says it has never been modified. For buyers looking for a JK that hasn't been lifted, fitted with oversized tires, or otherwise altered over the years, this is a refreshingly straightforward example with a known history from day one.
- One Owner From New: The seller purchased this Wrangler new in 2012 and has owned it ever since. That history is backed up by CARFAX, which identifies it as a one-owner personal vehicle with approximately 9,352 miles driven annually. CARFAX shows ownership in Florida and North Carolina and a last reported odometer reading of 135,159 miles.
- Manual Pentastar: Under the hood is the 3.6-liter V6 introduced to the Wrangler for 2012, paired here with the six-speed NSG370 manual transmission. The factory build sheet also specifies Command-Trac shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive, a Dana 30 front axle, heavy-duty Dana 44 rear axle, and 3.73 rear gearing.
- Max Tow & Dual Tops: This Sport S was ordered with both the Max Tow Package and Dual Top Group. Factory equipment includes the black three-piece hardtop and Sunrider soft top, along with a Class II receiver hitch and four-pin trailer wiring. The build sheet also lists the Power Convenience Group, power heated mirrors, remote keyless entry, power locks, and power windows.
- Stock & Well Kept: According to the seller, the Jeep remains completely stock and has never been modified. Regular oil changes and routine maintenance have been performed throughout ownership, with wear items addressed as needed. Brakes and calipers have recently been replaced, and CARFAX documents 32 service-history records, including an oil and filter change in February 2026.
- Clean History: CARFAX reports no accidents or damage, no structural damage, no odometer rollback indication, and no open recalls as of the report date. It also shows no reported salvage, junk, rebuilt, fire, flood, hail, or lemon title brands. The seller describes it as a non-smoker vehicle and notes that most of its life has been spent in southern states, primarily North Carolina, though it has made trips to Michigan and has seen winter conditions.
The appeal here isn't an extensive build. It's the lack of one. Four-door JKs have been modified in seemingly every imaginable way, which makes an original, one-owner example with a manual transmission increasingly interesting. The factory configuration helps, too. Crush Orange paint, a six-speed manual, 3.73 gearing, Max Tow Package, dual tops, and the Power Convenience Group make this a particularly usable Sport S without straying from the basic Wrangler formula. The factory Alpine nine-speaker audio system with all-weather subwoofer is another worthwhile option.
There are a couple of imperfections worth noting. The seller reports that one tire-pressure sensor has been intermittently unreliable for years. There's also a small dent in one of the black fender flares—with perhaps the most unusual provenance we've encountered on Fourbie. According to the seller, an elephant named Nekhanda was playing with a tractor tire, sent it rolling out of her enclosure and down a driveway, and the tire bumped the Jeep. The result is minor; the story is considerably better.
The seller is parting with the Wrangler only because of an upcoming four-year move overseas rather than leave it sitting in storage.
