This 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80 G is a GCC-market example with a configuration rarely encountered in the United States. Originally used in Saudi Arabia as a government vehicle, it pairs Toyota’s carbureted 4.5-liter 1FZ-F inline-six with a five-speed manual transmission and features factory dual fuel tanks, ambulance-style rear doors and inward-facing rear jump seats. Now titled in New York, the Land Cruiser has also recently received extensive mechanical servicing and cosmetic preparation.
  • GCC-Spec FZJ80 G: Built for the Gulf market, this Land Cruiser differs considerably from the U.S.-market FZJ80, combining left-hand drive with a carbureted 1FZ-F, five-speed manual and several export-market features.
  • Factory Dual Tanks: A particularly useful piece of its GCC specification is the factory dual-fuel-tank arrangement, providing additional range without relying on an aftermarket auxiliary tank.
  • Saudi Government History: The Land Cruiser reportedly belonged to Saudi Arabia’s social security agency and was assigned to a manager for local transportation between his office and home. Remnants of the government identification previously applied to the front doors have since been removed.
  • Extensive Recent Service: Preparation for sale included substantial front and rear axle, steering and suspension work using OEM Toyota replacement components, along with ignition, cooling, belt and exhaust-related maintenance. Five new Dunlop tires were also installed and balanced, followed by a wheel alignment.
  • Clean New York Title: The Land Cruiser is now offered with a clean New York title. The seller notes no previous chassis rust and says the frame has been refinished and coated. A small, stable stone chip remains in the original windshield.
The U.S. received plenty of FZJ80s, but not like this one. American-market trucks were equipped with the fuel-injected 1FZ-FE and automatic transmission, while this GCC-market FZJ80 retains the considerably more unusual combination of Toyota’s carbureted 1FZ-F and five-speed manual transmission.

Add the factory dual tanks, rear barn doors, jump-seat interior and Saudi government provenance, and this becomes a distinctly different take on the 80 Series. Rather than an extensively modified build, much of its appeal comes from the unusual factory specification Toyota originally gave it.
