he Porsche Cayenne has firmly routed itself as one of the all time best models Porsche has ever sold, saving the company from near bankruptcy in the early 2000s. The Cayenne is the perfect SUV having sports car-like road handling but also being capable off-road as well as a large towing capacity of 7700lbs which is one of the best in its class. The 2nd Gen Cayenne code named "Type 958" had an impressive base motor, a 3.6L, direct injected V6 producing 300HP and 295 ft/lbs of torque which gives it great off-the-line power and also decent passing power on the highway. Fuel economy is 16/23mpg with a 22 gallon fuel tank and premium gas recommended.
